ICICI Lombard General Insurance, Jet airways and Private air carrier have launched a unique overseas and domestic travel insurance product called Jet Project.
A press released issued in Mumbai on 20 jan 2009 stated that “The product offers security against possible risks during travel and can be purchased solely by visiting Jet Airways' website--www.jetairways.com”
The overseas and domestic travel insurance policy covers many situations Like medical expenses caused due to an accident, loss from trip cancellation loss or delay of checked in baggage and compassionate visit by a relative in case of illness, among others, the release said.
” JetProtect also covers claims arising out of acts of terrorism and includes a special cover to protect customers' home against the risk of burglary or fire while the airline customer is travelling in India”
Customers can buy this policy on the airline website while booking tickets & if the ticket has already been purchased from other source, then the customer has a option to purchase insurance by visiting the `Purchase Policy' section under `Plan Your Travel' on jetairways.com

After calling several time to Jet Airways and Lombard bank nothing has happened. All this policy causing more suffering to people like us.In the name of convenience and service bank and airline charged me 2,493 Rs. per Ticket,its shame and hearting to see thatinnocent people are taxed.
